..this is one of the famous 'known bugs of amos'. I think if you don't
switch to workbench, the problem reduces somewhat, but don't quote me on
that one. Overloading the sammple output system with a 'bell' works, as
does quitting amos and reloading.

..sam raw may have better success than sam play. At least to some extent.
